Altruvia

A Letter from Our Founder

Why I built this.

I grew up in an orphanage my parents built for over fifty children with nowhere else to go. That experience shaped everything, including why I built Altruvia.

Dear Friend,

I grew up in an orphanage my parents built in Haiti for over fifty children with nowhere else to go. My father called it “a corner of Heaven.” It was home, for all of us.

My parents showed me what it looks like to take everything you have, your time and talents and resources, and use it to serve others. They didn't have much, but what they had made all the difference.

To this day, their examples continue to inspire me. I saw firsthand what people can do when they commit fully to a cause.

“I wanted to give others the tools to fight the world's fights.”

That's why I built Altruvia.

Not everyone can build an orphanage. But millions of people wake up every day ready to do good, and they deserve tools that help them do it better. Altruvia exists so the people solving the hardest problems can focus on exactly that, without the administrative burden.

My purpose in life to stand for and with the most vulnerable and I hope Altruvia can help us scale this purpose worldwide.

With mucho amor,
